Item Description
9" long by 8" tall tin litho w/detachable black cloth roof. Seats are made of plastic and Mr. Magoo's head is vinyl. Made in Japan, distributed by Hubley. ©1961 UPA Pictures Inc. Box has colorful illustrations on lid. Side panels show three illustrations of Magoo in car w/text above each reading "Steers - Rocks, Rattles, Rolls - Removable Top." Box lid has crease to top, and .25" and 1" punctures on one side panel w/matching punctures to plain cardboard box bottom. Corners remains tight and box still displays Fine. Toy itself works well w/all the aforementioned actions. Very little wear. Just a few barely noticeable lt. scratches and tiny paint flake off headlight. Toy seldom found this nice and w/clean battery box. Exc. A classic battery toy as well as an interesting character toy.
