Item Description
16.25x23.25x4" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains complete and unused Italian model kit by Pocher, which was distributed in the US by Tyco in 1970. Elaborate kit includes every part in 1/8 scale, down to the nuts and bolts of kit. Everything is to be assembled w/precision hardware and kit is much, much more labor intensive than any other model kit we have ever seen. Kit appears to include even the tiny inner workings of the actual car's engine. Kit comes w/Tyco paper, Pocher illustrated catalog (w/text in Italian) and detailed instruction booklet which looks more like technical engineering drawings than instructions for a model kit. All hardware parts remain sealed within original plastic bags which are in turn attached to labeled flap. All pieces issued on sprues remain attached. Contents are Mint as issued and box has original cellophane wrapper, though end has been sliced open. Box shows some lt. aging/wear and is Exc. overall. This and Rolls-Royce model #1573 are easily the most challenging model kits we have ever offered. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
