Auction #209 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1144 in auction 209
Item Description
This massive celluloid has a black metal reverse with a notch at the top for hanging plus a small center tab that once held a wire easel for standing up. Easel is gone. Beautifully colored flowers surround 3.5x5.5" real photo without dot pattern. Surface has numerous marks, some are long hairline scratches but they do not go deeply into the celluloid and for the most part only showing at all in reflecting light. The piece displays clean and glossy. Early 1900s and unique.
