Item Description
1.5" tabbed on brass frame holds 1.25" button. Light age on back paper by Lilley, Columbus, O. Spring pin suspends 3.5" ribbon with word at top "Guest" while below is a celluloid Ace of Hearts card held by a pair of brass rivets with spread ears on the reverse. Gold text below has mostly darkened but easily readable as "October/Birds/Castalia/Oct. 26-28, 1903." This area of the ribbon has slight stain marks but blending well with the red color. Castalia comes from Greek mythology, a nymph whom Apollo transformed into a fountain at Delphi. One seen.
