Item Description
1.25" with metal back and horizontal bar pin. Curl reads "Sharples Makers Adelaide." Panel below his portrait reads "Winston Churchill The Empires Leader." Surrounding text is "P.A. Forces Citizens' Welfare Committee." The initials stand for Pan African. While the button displays very nicely, in reflected light there are about three dozen very tiny indent dots and additional short lines on the cello surface. None of these actually break through to reveal metal underneath but they are quite obvious in reflected light. Most barely show at all with normal viewing. No stain and full gloss. Only example we've seen.
