Item Description
Lot of six paper items issued c. 1942-1945. Lot includes two small posters, gummed window banners and small signs. 11.25x20.5" poster has great American Flag image and FDR quote and promoted purchasing War Bonds/Stamps. Folded as issued w/11" crease at corner. Fine/VF. 10x14" poster shows crowd of workers (including black worker and women) lining up w/cash in hand to purchase War Bonds for the "Bigger 7th War Loan." Folded as issued. NM. 2.75x16.5" and 5.5x33" rwb window banners w/gummed front have matching "Buy War Bonds" design. NM. 2.75x19.5" window banner has image of Patriot statue and "Buy Defense Bonds!" text. Two small tears, .75" tear along top margin and some lt. handling wear. Fine. Last item is small 3.5x11" rwb "Keep 'Em Flying!" cardstock sign. Scattered aging/handling wear. Fine.
