1-1/8" dia. silvered metal case. Beautiful celluloid dial featuring Mickey Mouse, whose hands point at the numerals plus second hand disc w/three small Mickey Mouse images. 1933. This first version features an image of Mickey Mouse quite different from the second version dial. This early image was updated after a very brief period of time to a more traditional Mickey image. Comes w/original plain black leather straps which show some wear and are VF. Trace of wear to the case resulting in some loss of luster to raised edges. Back of case has .25" area of tiny pinpoints of luster loss. Case is Fine overall. Crystal shows some wear w/tiny nick and is also Fine. Dial remains clean and Exc. Watch is running. Rare and only the fifth time we've seen this variety in our 47 years, our last example sold for $1,530. A true rarity in the world of character timepieces.
