Item Description
3.75x6.75x7/8" deep box contains New Haven watch w/1x1-3/8" silver luster metal case. ©1948 News Syndicate Co., Inc. Box lid has Chester Gould profile illustration of Dick Tracy and Dick Tracy Jr., complete w/original matching insert. Lid has surface dust, lt. scattered wear and penciled initials at top left corner but retains its structure and is free of splits. Fine/VF. Original leather bands have New Haven foil band noting original issue price of $6.95. Bands show no wear, appearing to have never been worn. Dial has image of Dick Tracy from knees up w/"Dick Tracy" name across his waist. Dial shows some trace of aging w/scattered pinpoint marks but clean. Crystal has lt. wear but overall watch is VF and running.
