Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 5" tall alarm clock by Columbia Time Products of LaSalle, IL. ©1959 Walter Lantz Productions, Inc. Box lid has nice full figure image of Woody Woodpecker as carnival sideshow barker w/large easel and clock name in bkg. Side panels feature art of Oswald Rabbit, Charlie Chicken, Homer Pigeon and Woody w/Andy Panda. Box is complete w/insert, but shows moderate wear/aging w/creases and surface paper wear at edges. Fine. Clock has 4" dia. face w/1.25" die-cut tin litho figure of Woody as cook holding spatula and sign on tree titled "Woody's Café." Figure is animated as clock ticks. Glow-in-the-dark numbers and hands still glow brightly. Running. Slightest aging but Exc. overall. See Woody Woodpecker variety clocks, following item #1711.
