Lot of nine pieces, all w/bottom hallmarks reading "Bone China Hammersley & Co. - Made In England." c. 1939. Lot includes - three 2.75" tall cups, each w/different configurations of characters, though fronts of each feature "Princess Glory & Prince David." Additional images of castle (on 2) and "Gabby The Town Crier" on back. Lot also includes three 5.5" dia. saucers, two featuring same image of "King Little & King Bombo" w/other featuring "Gulliver Brings In The Fleet" illustration. 5.25" dia. by 1.75" deep bowl has "Capture Of Gulliver" illustration. Last items in lot are two 3-5/8" tall creamers, one featuring repeated "Gulliver Brings In The Fleet" illustration and the other featuring repeated "King Little & King Bombo" w/backs of both featuring repeated "Gabby The Town Crier" illustration. Each has various smaller illustrations at edges/rims. Finely made high quality pieces w/superb images. Gold trim on each. Exc.
