Item Description
35x47" double-sided poster "Newsmap" printed in 1943 by the Army Orientation Course, Army Education and Information Branch, Army Service Forces, War Dept. These combined poster graphics w/illustrated news bulletins aimed at reinforcing troop morale. Not for the general public. One side features "U.S. Army Decoration And Awards" and shows large image of the Medal of Honor. Reverse side features "The Eastern Front" and "The Advance Towards Rome" maps and has several bw photos. Folded as issued w/scattered handling wear and tiny creases along fold lines. Fine/VF. This is the first "Newsmap" we have offered in our 47 years.
