Item Description
This toy is part of a line of extremely popular toys that were a collaboration between Arcade and Greyhound for the 1933 Chicago World's Fair which eventually resulted in these toys being sold in five sizes, two of which we offer in this catalog (see following item #1076). This is 10.25" long painted cast iron w/white rubber tires. This is a larger, more expensive and elaborate model as it features pressed steel benches inside the bus to simulate the seating area. Trailer is detachable. Has four raised running greyhounds on each side and is marked "©1933 AMC." This was one of the very few toys Arcade copyrighted. Cab and trailer have scattered wear w/paint chips/nicks. Tires have typical stress lines and some minor cracking but all are original. VG/Fine overall.
