Item Description
10x13" card illustrated cardboard display card contains outfit by Esquire Novelty. c. late 1940-early 1950s. Outfit consists of plastic belt w/repeat illustrations and "The Lone Ranger" text; 1.25x2.75" metal buckle w/applied raised "The Lone Ranger" text and image; plastic silver bullet charm is attached to belt w/small chain; starched linen official mask (slightly flattened); "Official Jail Keys" are two 5" long skeleton keys on metal hoop ring. In center of this ring are two unpunched holes meant to display included "Lone Ranger Deputy" cast metal badge. This is factory error as holes were never punched. Belt, keys & badge Exc., mask is VF. Card has slight warp and is evenly tanned w/age. Fine. Great design and scarce. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
