Item Description
Pair of girls padded vinyl slippers measuring 2.5x8x4.25" tall. Each slipper has large image of Batgirl, taken from her first appearance on the cover of "Detective Comics" #359 as drawn by Carmine Infantino. Batman and Robin also appear alongside "WOW" word burst. Very little Batgirl merchandise was produced due to Batgirl appearing in the third season of the "Batman" 1966 TV show, when the show's popularity was in decline. Slippers are lightly aged and show trace of wear on undersides and pinpoint hole on tip of left slipper. Still displays VF. Rare.
