Item Description
25.25x38" glossy paper poster shows American soldier talking to French woman w/British soldier by his side. Text reads "Three Victor Records That Will Teach You To Speak French Correctly In Cases Of Emergency - Ask For Descriptive Booklet And Demonstration." Poster was designed for American soldiers going to France during World War I and was likely displayed in local music shops and department store record departments. Poster shows obvious wear w/1x1.75" triangular piece missing at lower left and numerous archival tape repairs to back of margins. Top has 1" corner missing and scattered soiling. VG.
