Item Description
1.25x2.5x14.25" original mailer with Dick Tracy image on return label. Box holds complete four piece airplane made mostly of balsa wood with silk screen designs on the parts as wells as metal clips/braces and stiff paper tail fin. Tracy's portrait in star design on wings and tails. Also comes with rubberband and stick for projecting plane and instruction sheet. Paper tail has handling creases. Other parts have lt. dust soiling but remain structurally sound. VF. Box VF. Intruction sheet worn/aged, VG. Plane was issued by Quaker Oaks in 1939. Rare with directions and box.
