Item Description
Group of three buttons in the sizes of 3.5", 2.25" and 1.75" all designed to look like clothing buttons. "The Andy Warhol Button Button" text appears on the side edge of the two larger buttons. The 1.75" button has curl text "The Original Andy Warhol Button Button." The two larger items have metal backs with a threaded screw post at the center rather than any type of pin. We're not sure how these were meant to be used. The 1.75" button has a standard spring pin. Some small scattered patches of oxidation near the screw posts on the two large reverses but the fronts retain a glossy appearance with minimal wear. A rare set of all three sizes produced in the day-glo color called 'Saturn Yellow.' From the Marshall Levin Collection and comes with Hake's COA. Scarce items.
