Item Description
Our last blue and cream version of this button in Auction #197 realized $460.00 but this is the even rarer black and white version. 1.25". From same series as Hopalong Cassidy previous item. Issued by Freihofer's Bakeries in the Reading, PA area in 1942. As with most examples from series, which includes Hoppy, Gene Autry, Charles Starrett, and Bill Elliott, this does not have a back paper. About 5% shows tan age at lower left and far right. No age on the young photo of Roy. Full gloss. Rare.
