First is a 1-5/8" litho button from 1955 awarded to those entering a Rin Tin Tin puppy naming contest. Button has a few scattered lines but barely breaking the paint and still displays Exc. Next is 2" wide die-cut white metal large badge reading on top banner "Fighting Blue Devils" and on lower banner "101st Cavalry." This piece is from 1954 and came with the first club membership kit which also included a fabric banner and membership card. Mint. Third item also from c.1954 is the Magic Ring. This is brass with Rin Tin Tin portrait in high relief on the brass ring cover that opens up to reveal a pair of blue ink pads to use with the wax crayon offered in the previous lot. The bands on this ring are quite thin and each of these have a small bend at the mid-point. Tiny tarnish dot over one eye of Rinty. Vast majority of luster remains. Last is 2.25" button with metal back and bar pin reading "Rin Tin Tin-Every Kid Needs A Super Dog." This carries a copyright line which appears to read H.B. Leonard Films, Inc. c.1990s. Mint.
