From a set of five bisque figurines w/movable arms made in Germany and distributed by Strobel and Wilken Co. of New York and Chicago. Set included - Little Nemo, Princess, Doctor Pill, Imp and Flip. Offered here is Flip, who stands 4.5" tall. Flip has tiny hole at mouth (as produced) that once held small cigar. Unfortunately, this cigar is now missing. Very minor and barely visible 2.25" long hairline crack running along left side of body. Has some paint touch-up that blends well and partially hides this defect. Figurine is o/w bright and clean and still displays Exc. Among the rarest character bisques, w/a complete set of five selling in our Jan., 2008 auction for $22,000.
