Item Description
Complete set of seven heavy cardboard standees w/easel backs measuring between 35" and 36.25" tall. From the film's original release in 1938, these standees are shown in Kay Kamen marketing brochures from 1938. Designed for use in movie theaters and/or retail stores to promote the film and its flood of merchandise. Standees accurately depict the Dwarfs in bright alternate colors, w/only Dopey depicted wearing the color clothing he is seen wearing in the film. Each Dwarf has name boldly printed across hat brims as designed. Standees have scattered lt. wear, mostly confined to backs. Sneezy has some scattered areas of discoloration to hat and Happy has some paint touch-ups to eyebrows and name area on hat brim. Grumpy has minor creasing on nose. Doc has had hand professionally re-attached and repair is only noticeable upon close inspection. As is, standees remain bright and clean and display Exc. Rare and among the best display pieces for Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs. From the Bruce Hamilton Collection and comes with COA.
