Item Description
Pair of 3-1/8x6.25" premium folders. First is ©1936 Silver Cup Bread and second is ©1938 Cobakco. Folders features different images of the Lone Ranger's horse Silver, one is shown w/Lone Ranger riding him. Inside covers are different too, w/earlier folder featuring photo image of Lone Ranger riding Silver and photo of John Todd as Tonto. Later folder features illustration of Tonto. Each comes w/complete amount of seven loose double-sided printed story pages that tell complete story of how Silver came to be the Lone Ranger's horse. Story pages were issued one per loaf of bread. Front and back covers have pair of die-cut holes at spine as issued for binding story pages. Pages remain unpunched and NM. 1936 folder has some lt. handling wear w/creases at top and is Fine overall. 1938 folder is Exc./NM. Folders/story pages come w/single folder for Merita bread, the scarcest of all three versions. Exc.
