33.5" tall large and impressive figural display depicting Mike Wazowski, one of the two main characters from the widely popular 2001 computer-animated Pixar film "Monsters, Inc." Voiced by veteran comedic actor Billy Crystal, Mike Wazowski stands on painted metal base w/3.5x6" plastic "Monsters, Inc." plastic plaque and his first name in raised text. Sticker on back corner of base lists maker Idea Planet Inc. and notes made for display in Toys "R" Us stores. This display (along w/a matching Sully display) were issued in 2001 in conjunction w/the film's original release. Only 200 were made, and upon the end of the promotion they were ordered to be destroyed, making this a scarce and difficult piece to obtain. Display is made of a heavy vinyl over foam interior that has assembly joints at knees, shoulders and wrist as well as one at middle of body. Clear plastic eye covering has yellowed w/age and joints show some wear. Display has scattered dust soiling but displays VF overall.
