Marvel Comics was not pleased w/the original design and had button re-designed. Rim reads "Official Member Super Hero Club." Several other buttons were issued including Daredevil, Captain America (see previous item #2447) Spider-Man and Thor (see following item #2449). Header card has some scatttered wear to edges/corners and is lightly aged. VF w/NM button as bagged. "The Full-Color Guide To Marvel Silver Age Collectibles" book lists value for this button at $300-$400 in bag. Our last example of this button sold for $424. All revised buttons are rare.
