Item Description
Made by H.A. Framburg & Co. Chicago. 13.5x17x 4” deep case designed to stand up for display use has celluloid plate on top w/insignia and text “Special Services Division USN Bureau of Aeronautics Device Number 5-A Serial Number 2489”. Case hinged in middle opens to reveal 28 compartments w/removable wood shelves, each containing painted solid die-cast models of British Naval ships w/scale of 1/200. Each has printed identification text on underside w/date of “12/43”. Includes battleships, cruisers, destroyers, aircraft carriers, etc. Case has light aging and trace of wear. VF. Contents NM. High quality w/superb detail.
