This is PinPics #28967, a 2.5" dia. enameled metal pin graded and encapsulated by PinPics depicting the Spring Sprite character from Disney's 1999 animated musical feature "Fantasia 2000," the sequel to 1940's "Fantasia." A trio of butterflies and a dragonfly flutter in front of Sprite's face. PinPics graded at 8.3 (VF), none graded higher. This pin design contains a record number of fills (individual sections to be filled in w/enamel) w/over 350, leaving ample opportunities for imperfections in the individually hand-filled enamel processes along w/unusually delicate borders that make the grade of this pin extraordinary. This is the only copy to grade over 8. Released in 2004 as part of a limited edition of just 100.
