This is PinPics #25893, a 2x2.5" tall enameled metal pin graded and encapsulated by PinPics depicting Mickey Mouse reduced to right angles and geometric shapes including square red shorts in this clever gold-finished collector's pin titled "Mondrian Mouse." Imitating the Neo-Plasticism style of Dutch painter Piet Mondrian (1872-1944), this parody is one in a series of "framed" oversize pins that celebrate classic art w/a Disney twist. PinPics graded at 9.4 (NM), none graded higher. Released in 2003 as part of a limited edition of just 100, an unheard of low edition size for such a popular genre.
