Pair of 15.25x22.5" posters promoting March 17-21, 1970 event at University of California, Davis Campus in Davis, California. This was the first Whole Earth Festival, an eco-friendly music, dance, arts, crafts and education festival which still takes place every Spring on the UC Davis campus. Posters feature art by Peter Max w/Earth at center and several psychedelic dancing images surrounding it. "Peter Max" name/logo at bottom above extensive text promoting the event, some text of note includes - "An Aquarian Festival Of Joy & Harmony On Earth, To Be Held On The Quad In Accordance With The Vernal Equinox" and mentions "The Global Village Of Aquarius."
