Item Description
Lot of 3. First is 4.5x6" card with front showing illustration of Hitler on poster reading "Serve In Silence/He Might Be Listening." As card is unfolded child is told to remain silent. Card unfolds to 18x23" when the child can no longer hold back and in large letters says Happy Birthday. © 1945 by Hallmark. 1" tear on four margin creases. Second and third cards have high quality cartoon engravings of Hitler and Tojo with notation below images "Genuine Steel Engraved." First of the two has Hitler with text "Here's A Perfect Tie-Up For Your Birthday! May You Enjoy A Very Happy Birthday And May Hitler Soon Get It In The Neck!" Inside is string tied as noose. Last card shows Tojo with text "Sorry You're Ill/Wanted To See This Guy At The End Of A Rope! And To See You At The End Of Your Illness! Hope It's Mighty Soon!" String noose is missing. Both of these cards are unused. Light surface dust to Tojo. Hitler Exc.
