Item Description
High quality, 10.25" dia. porcelain plate w/gold accent trim and the facsimile signatures of "1958 World Champions" football team arranged around central "Baltimore Colts" mascot logo/name. Final score "Colts 23 - Giants 17" printed below. Produced by Balfour as noted by maker's mark on underside, plate had a very limited production run, being made as gifts for the team and media only. Balfour also made saucers and teacups for the Colts the following year using a similar design. Some names of note include - Johnny Unitas and Art Donovan. Bright and glossy, Exc. Scarce.
