Item Description
Original 14.5x26x5" deep illustrated cardboard box contains complete painted pressed steel (w/some vinyl/plastic) set No. 2100 issued by Tonka in 1963. Box (which is complete w/die-cut insert tray) shows obvious wear/aging w/scattered moisture staining and is VG. Set consists of Jeep, "Tonka Serv-I-Car," tractor and two luggage trailers. Tractor and Serv-I-Car (which has dump bed) have steerable front wheels and tractor has pair of "Tonka Airlines" decals, "Tonka" logo decal and detailed dashboard decal. Serv-I-Car has "Tonka Serv-I-Car" decal on each side, which show moderate aging. Trailers are complete w/wire attachment holding in place five plastic suitcases each. These suitcases are quite often missing. Aside from decal issues on Serv-I-Car, set is NM, old store stock.
