Item Description
10" tall cardboard tube w/metal bottom and cap. Tube once contained two pounds of "Howdy Doody's Favorite Modeling Compound" in three colors. This compound was similar to today's Play-Doh and colors could be mixed to make different colors. Climax Industries. ©California National Products, Inc. c. 1950s. Front of packaging features nice portrait of Howdy and back has instructions and ideas for product's use. Lid has trace oxidation and cardboard tube shows lt. wear/aging. Metal bottom has heavy oxidation w/some scattered holes, but this does not take away from display appearance, which remains VF. Rare.
