Item Description
9.5x11.5" kit in cardboard packaging designed like a handled schoolbag. Pilot Plastics Incorporated. ©Kagran. 1950s. Kit consists of partially used crayons, erasing cloth, magic trace film and four pattern sheets. Pattern sheets were placed under magic trace film and colored, and then "erased" w/cloth. Kit allowed for hundreds of combinations. Packaging shows wear w/die-cut handle having .75" piece torn w/tape repair. Scattered age spotting. VG/Fine. Magic tracing film has staining from crayons and erasing cloth also has crayon staining. Crayons are used but pattern sheets have just a trace here and there of crayon markings, likely from storage. VG-Fine overall. Scarce.
