8.25x8.25x14" box. c. 1960s. Manufactured for Texaco by Park Plastics Co. Linden, N.J. Both ends have slogan "Trust Your Car To The Man Who Wears The Star." Box with illustrations on both sides explains features of hat including "Battery Operated Transistorized Amplifier/Loud Speaker/Adjustable Headband/Microphone With Push Button On-Off Switch/Hanging Ring/Constructed Of Rugged Reinforced Hard Plastic." Box retains original, sturdy condition. Light aging. Box displays VF. Fire Chief hat is unused. Original glossy finish. Hat complete. Exc. Comes with 8.5x11" folded as issued instruction sheet. VF.
