Pair of painted composition figurines depicting monkeys w/a caricatured version of Hitler's face, comb-over hair and Hitler-like mustache. 1940s. Offered here are both size varieties produced. 4" tall version w/metal loop at top. This smaller version has armband w/incised swastika whereas larger just has armband w/o swastika. Small 1/8" hole drilled under base. Figure has all over scattered paint wear, more noticeable on back. Fine. Scarce. Rarer 7.5" tall figure is similar design, w/noted armband difference and lack of metal loop as produced. Figure has 1.5" vertical hairline crack to center of face surface, .5" split on ear, .25" crack to other ear and 3/8x.5" chip to toes of one foot. VG overall, but figure remains nice for display. Great design.
