Item Description
20x28" glossy paper poster for June 27-Sept. 18, 1986 tribute to Jay Ward, who is pictured alongside Rocky and Bullwinkle in costume reminiscent of Cap'n Crunch, w/a large "J" on hat. Ward (and his company Jay Ward Productions) is responsible for producing animated series based on such characters as Crusader Rabbit, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Dudley Do-Right, Peabody and Sherman, Hoppity Hooper, George of the Jungle, Tom Slick, and Super Chicken. His company designed the trademark characters for the Cap'n Crunch, Quisp, and Quake breakfast cereals and it made TV commercials for those products. Tribute took place at The Museum of Broadcasting (now known as The Paley Center for Media). Poster has lt. handling wear/aging w/1" and 1.5" areas of faint moisture staining to top right margin. This could be easily matted out for an Exc. display. Scarce.
