11.25x14.25x1.5" deep box contains complete and unused size 10 "Jr. WAVE" (WAVE being the acronym for "Women Accepted For Volunteer Emergency Service," established as a World War II division of the US Navy that consisted entirely of women) outfit, including cap and envelope containing complete insignia for hat and lapels. 1940s. Outfit has some lt. scattered aging, but is o/w unused and Exc. Box shows wear w/lid having 1.5x4.75" piece missing off bottom side panel, though this does not affect stamped outfit name or stock number. Lid has a partial corner split and 1" puncture at top center. Box remains Fine for display. Rare outfit. From the Don Maris Collection.
