Item Description
12" tall jointed composition Orphan Annie doll w/original cloth dress, socks and oilcloth shoes w/metal buttons. Trace of aging to outfit (socks are slightly stretched at top but stay up). Doll has .5" crack to inside of one hand and a few tiny cracks to surface of back of head. Doll can be stood up and still displays Exc. Comes w/6.5" tall composition Sandy doll. Left ear has trace of paint wear and tiny crack on backside. Right eye has hairline surface crazing crack. VF. Dolls are unmarked but were manufactured and distributed by Ralph A. Freundlich, Inc. 1930s. Rare and exceptional set.
