Item Description
6.5x9.25x1.5" deep cardboard box has nice lid graphics w/Mickey Mouse in mine cart waving wand, causing series of books to fly out of drawers. Whitman #2918. ©1956 Walt Disney. Box corners have trace of wear but all corners remain tight and box is Exc. overall. Contains complete set of eight softcover books, each 4.5x6.25" w/32 nicely illustrated pages. Titles include "Mickey And The Beanstalk, Mickey Mouse's Summer Vacation, Donald Duck In Bringing Up The Boys, The Three Orphan Kittens, Danny The Little Black Lamb, Bongo" and "Johnny Appleseed". Also includes "Corky And White Shadow" which was a Mickey Mouse Club serial starring Darlene. Books are NM. Nice art throughout. Scarce set.
