Original illustrated (w/Disney characters) cardboard box w/carrying handle contains very nicely detailed working tin litho typewriter. 1950s by T. Cohn Inc. Nice box art includes image on two side panels of Mickey Mouse typing as he watches TV which shows two Mouseketeers and box text reads "Write To Your Favorite Mouseketeer." Box shows wear w/surface paper rubs along edges and 1.5" split to front left corner. Box still retains its shape and is Fine overall. Typewriter design includes simulated keys and pair of "Mickey Mouse Club - Mouseketeer" logos. At center is the letter wheel and typing bar. This letter wheel is used to select what alphabet letter you want to type. These letters are then printed out one at a time using the typing bar. Just like a real typewriter as you type, the carriage moves. A few tiny scattered paint rubs to back of carriage, but these are not noticeable from front. Tiny paint nick/shallow indent on "keys," but o/w Exc. Great design. Scarce. See following item #2293.
