Item Description
Lot of nine different 3.5x5.5" postcards, including one by Whitney and two by Julius Bien. c. early 1900s-1920. Themes include Halloween celebrations including jack-o-lantern pumpkins (including pig eating jack-o-lantern scarecrow head and great pumpkin/jack-o-lantern snake), witches and black cats, owls, bats, etc. Two cards feature handheld mirror design w/women within (one bobbing for apple, other blindfolded). Five of the nine have either writing or are postally used. Some designs include embossing and metallic accents. Most have some lt. handling wear, about half having extreme margin wear. Most are Fine overall. See following item #1085.
