Clapsaddle. c. early 1900s-1920. Christmas themed, cards depict elves on four cards, children on 25 cards (including one depicting group of African-American children around turkey dinner) and 11 featuring animals. 31 of the 40 have either writing or are postally used. Some designs include embossing, metallic bkgs. and metallic accents. Varying degrees of handling wear, corner tip/margin wear. Most are Fine overall w/a few being lesser VG grade and a few in higher VF grade. Great designs. All shown online.
