Item Description
9x11.5" book w/embossed leather cover and 36 pages issued at a preview of the 1930 World War I film. Booklet includes photos of the director Howard Hughes, stars Ben Lyon, James Paul and Jean Harlow as well as director James Whale and several images of bi-plane dogfights including one photo w/zeppelin. Leather cover has embossed design showing pilot bailing out of crashing bi-plane and "Hell's Angels" title. Covers show some wear w/corner foxing and a few small scattered spots of moisture staining at edges. Fine, w/tightly bound contents which have some handling wear and are VF overall (title page and back of last page are aged due to contact w/leather cover). Very limited printing, much rarer that the non-leather-bound edition of this book.
