Item Description
Set of 96 (cards numbered 1-96). Each 2.5x3-1/8" issued by Gum Inc. © 1941. Cards depict different scenes from the four military branches of service. Text backs. Four cards have defects worth a specific mention. #76 has creases, #89 has .5" diameter spot of surface paper off lower right corner, #90 has some small dark brown spots, #96 has very faint crease at upper right although this does not go through the entire card. Cards overall have scattered general trace of margin aging and slight corner tip wear. Most cards have some degree of tanning to margins/backs. All art remains clean. Aside from the noted cards with defects, about a dozen are fine, about a half-dozen are Exc. Vast majority of the set are VF.
