Item Description
17x22" paper poster for premium ring issued by General Mills in 1947 that was obtained by sending 15¢ and one Kix box top. Art of Lone Ranger at upper left corner, main image area is large illustration of ring. Folded as issued w/some scattered minor handling wear. Exc. Comes w/ring that features base w/adjustable brass bands and features a saddle design on each side w/bullet and branding iron designs on the top of the ring base which holds a three-dimensional plastic replica gun marked on its base w/horseshoe surrounding "LR" initials. Small opening under the barrel where a flint is to be inserted. No flint is present and even when one is added it can be difficult to make the gun spark using the metal wheel inset on its top edge. A Fine example w/luster highlights remaining. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
