Item Description
The Constitutional Bicentennial $5 Gold Commemorative Coin has a modernistic design by Marcel Jovine and was selected for the five-dollar gold coin standard weigh, size, and fineness commemorating the bicentennial of the United Stated Constitution. The obverse portrays a stylized eagle holding a massive quill pen. Another large quill pen is featured on the reverse. To the left are nine stars signifying the first colonies that ratified the Constitution. Four states to the right represent the remaining original states. This Proof version was minted at West Point. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
