8.25x8.5" thick cardboard display card w/attached book and box of crayons is Whitman set No. 3059, ©1936. Top of display features image of Mickey Mouse resting against large crayon and staring at picture of Minnie. Bottom margin of card features "Color Blending Guide" text. Attached at center is 4x5.25" softcover book w/"160 Pages Of Mickey Mouse Pictures To Color." The bw pages feature illustrations based on several early Mickey Mouse animated shorts including "The Moose Hunt" and "The Mail Pilot." Attached next to the book is box which holds complete amount of six unused crayons. Display has trace of edge wear w/corner bumps at bottom and some scattered minor color rubs. VF. Book has faint 1.5" corner crease to front cover w/archival tape on inside front cover. Pages are evenly aged but book remains totally bright and clean. Still VF. This set is very rare w/only about five known examples. The three we have offered in our 47 years have all averaged around $2,000.
