Item Description
6x7.5x27" long heavy steel case box w/brass hand-crank to turn enclosed thin canvas sheet that has been silk-screened and features various New York locations/subway stops. From subway cars of the 1930s that were scrapped to make way for newer models. One gear has teeth missing so only "Canal Street" shows. We are unsure what additional stops are on roll. Moderate scattered wear w/some scattered rusting. VG. Comes w/17" long heavy metal loop/strap on hinged mounting plate. Grip for handle is porcelain-coated and all comes w/original mounting hardware. Scattered wear/aging w/some porcelain flakes. VG/Fine.
