Item Description
1.5x1.75" ticket stub Aug. 28, 1964 concert at The Forest Hills Music Festival in Queens, NY. After touring internationally, The Beatles returned to the US in Aug. 1964, w/a 30-concert tour of 23 cities, including the concert for this stub. Generating intense interest, the month-long tour attracted between 10,000 and 20,000 fans to each 30-minute performance in cities from San Francisco to New York. Stub lists original purchase price of $5.95 and "2-R-16" seat. Moderate wear w/1.75" long strip of tape staining and uneven edge from ripping at concert entrance. VG overall. As a bonus, comes w/newspaper clipping detailing how to win tickets to this concert through the "Macy's Beatles Ticket Contest" and listing Barbra Streisand as well as The Beatles as performers. Neat pair to frame together.
