Item Description
1.75" has W&H paper c.1920. Gorgeous depiction of young woman on a candle stick telephone all set within a giant blue bell. Text "Long Distance Makes The Heart Grow Fonder/Pioneer." Surface has rather extensive craze lines, most under 1.25" but totaling between two and three dozen. While that sounds terrible these lines barely show with normal viewing and only slightly more with reflected light viewing and the celluloid still lays almost 100% flat so they are not noticeable to the touch. Other than the crazing no additional wear and the piece has superb color and Mint gloss. Only example we've seen. This starts with a modest opening bid but is one of the best pin-backs we've seen in decades.
